Mission Statement

CFMAD strives to inspire within diverse audiences a deeper understanding and connection to Canada’s historical and current contributions to air defence by creating lasting connections to the history and artifacts.

 

We will act as a link between the public and the Royal Canadian Air Force through the growth and preservation of the collection, exhibits, education programs, events, publications and personal encounters with staff and volunteers. In achieving this, visitors will be appreciative, understanding and proud of Canada’s contributions, past and present.

 

Current Museum Hours:
Saturday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm

the museum staff at 705-494-2011 ext. 2261. Subject to staff or volunteer availability.**

Guided Tours:

Basic Guided Tour (10+ participants)

$3.50 per participant

In the case of youth groups, 1 adult per every 10 children required, with free admission, $3.50 per additional adult

Bus driver free; in the case of a commercial group booking (i.e. bus tour), tour escort free

Education Programs (Guided Tour + Activity)

$5.00 per child/activity participant

1 adult per every 10 children required, with free admission, $3.50 per additional adult

Minimum fee equivalent of 10 activity participants = $50.00
